A book that, for the first time, reconstructs the history of the Italian movement, the debate about its definition, the international and national context in which the Italian Fiber Art had acted, the reporting of the main exhibitions held in Europe and in Italy. The heart of the book consists of about sixty artists’ profiles with numerous color images. An in-depth and exciting reconstruction that finally allows us to outline, make known and appreciate an artistic movement in which the idea has never prevailed over the work, the concept of realization, but importance has also been given to the act of doing, to the subject, to the research of beauty and sensory involvement. Furthermore, if the book is currently in Italian language, everyone can appreciate the Italian movement through the numerous images.
